Art installer Steve Sherwood hangs artwork created by pediatric patients in the new 4-story, 124,000 square-foot inpatient pavilion at Miller Children’s Hospital in Long Beach, Calif. on November 24, 2009. The expansion is set to open late next month. The building sits next to the hospital’s current building. The new inpatient pavilion will include a state-of-the-art pediatric imaging center and a pediatric surgery center. The facility also includes additional Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) beds, a family resource center, playroom and a meditation area. See more pictures>>
